We had a
great time! It didn't get too cold, only about 28 degrees.
There was a total of 39 patrols plus staff for a total of almost 400
participants from Covered Bridge, Mountain Lakes and Foothills districts. We
took home 3rd place overall in the Orienteering game, participated in a camp
wide service project and enjoyed a lot of food, fun and fellowship.
Thanks to
all of the patrol members for making this weekend a success and a very special
thanks to: Scott Cupp, Cubmaster of Pack
723, for taking on the job of Grubmaster. The food was excellent! And
Kevin Triplett, ASM of Troop 723, for being our
Quartermaster and taking on the design and construction of our patrol flag and
campsite decorations.
We have
already begun planning for next year. The Cobb SWC is always held on the
second weekend of January, so mark your calendars, put in for time off at work
and join us for a great time! Everyone from this years patrol has agreed
to go back, so let's get Troop 723 represented with a second patrol.
